This is the seventh year that the camp has been running at Pengraig.  A beautiful farm set in 78 acres of countryside near Carmarthen in West Wales. The farm is home to the Majical Youth Theatre Group who have more than 20 years experience in running and organising events of all sizes, for kids of all ages. These include the kids area at beautiful days festival, buddhafield and the big green gathering, the circus area at glastonbury festival and many, many others.

The camp is organized by Majical Youth and various home educators from across the country to bring you a fun filled week  in the glorious west wales countryside, at the lowest possible price.

This year we are opening the doors early so anyone is free to arrive from Saturday lunchtime 25th August. There will be a nominal extra charge for this of £25 per family unit. Please remember that we`ll still be busy getting ready so children will need more supervision and the sessions will not start until Monday.

To answer a few of your questions:-

The camp cost includes camping in your own unit, there is plenty of space so no restrictions on number of tents, caravans, camper vans or anything else you choose to camp in for the week. You do not have to book our accomodation, it`s an extra for those who don`t want to camp.

We have very reasonably priced vegetarian food available every year, it is not included in the camp cost but available as an extra, should you wish to take it.

Dogs are allowed under these strict rules……Must be kept on leads at all times and that you clear up after them. There are dogs, cats and various livestock around the farm. If your dog has issues with any of these we would ask you to make other arrangements for them.

The farm is accessible by public transport, we have families who come each year by bus and train. The nearest bus stop is in Drefach Felindre 5 minutes drive down the hill and we can pick you up from there. The nearest train station is Carmarthen, a half hour drive away.We can do pick ups there for £25 return by prior arrangement. This is less than half the price of local taxi firms.

We don`t send out tickets and info anymore. Keep in touch via facebook or e mail. We send out detailed instructions with directions a couple of weeks before we start with our contact details including mobile numbers, should you need to get in touch.
